Huriata - YikeBike: Business/Economics

I studied an innovative product, the ‘YikeBike’, in class today! It’s a non-pedalling, fast and easy to used bike that you can fold up and carry.

It’s main advantage is being capable of travelling long distances with little to use effort and energy. You are able to sit up as if it were a moving chair (literally), it can swivel and move smoothly; and it can prevent being stolen from a thieve with its particular locks on the wheels.

Personally, I don’t like it and I wouldn’t I support it, all I could say to the person who made it is, “Kudos!”. I wouldn’t recommend it to friends or family - it all depends. And I predict it to have small sales because everyone would either have a car… or a bike, a normal one.

SOS - Key Concepts Definition: Huriata

WALA - the key concepts for Globalisation Topic.

Two new concepts that I learnt in SOS (social studies) is:

Migrate - When animals move from one place to another during seasonal change. This means that when the season changes, or when there needs to be an immediate relocation - they move from their previous location to a new one.

Globalisation - Interacting with other countries (having influence) by organisations or companies, e.g: google, McDonald's, Facebook. It's when (other) countries are influenced by companies and organisation, so with google, it is a large company that runs it's service online! And the internet is a HUGE influence in the world.

Tips For An Explanation !

A tip I have for you is to write in order, and to organise your paragraphs to make it make sense (Statement, Explain, Example). Another tip is use more empowering vocab, and to improve usage in metaphors and similes! A personal tip I have is to read a book everyday, this will improve your thinking and memory so that you can know and use the examples in the book to your writing!!
